Back Country Morals: This means we work hard, go to church, support the 2nd Amendment, treat our ladies with respect and are nowhere near what some call “politically correct.” Or in other words, we don’t like the way this country is heading and strive to adhere to the principles America was founded upon and that made it great.
Family: We grew up with people who instilled not only a love of the outdoors but who taught us the value of hard work and family first. All of us at Fit To Hunt are in different stages of our lives. Some of have kids, some don’t, but our #1 goal is to provide for our family, be a positive influence and use those same back country morals to raise men and women who are honest, hardworking, and have a love for the outdoors.
Fitness: Oh yeah, that fitness thing is pretty important as well! There is a direct correlation between the shape you are in and your performance. It’s why my 79 year old grandfather can still move through the woods like a cat while others 50 years younger have to take an ATV to get to their deer stand. Want to go on an elk hunt of a lifetime? Well then you better be physically prepared for it or the experience will be miserable. We may not throw a ball or run for touchdowns but hunters and fisherman are athletes and if you want the best possible experiences out of your adventures you have to be physically ready for the task. This is where Fit To Hunt steps in. We offer:

Fit To Hunt isn’t about having washboard abs and 4% body fat. If that is your goal we can help you lose weight or look good in a bathing suit but our #1 priority with our followers (we call them our Tribe) is to enhance their performance in the field. Improving one’s health is very important but our focus is helping you develop the conditioning to bag the trophy of a lifetime. And by the way, if you train to do these things your health will improve as a side effect. So….we’ll get you healthy as you prepare to go bag a buck, bull or gobbler. We’re sneaky that way.
Fun: If something isn’t fun you won’t do it very long. We know that you know hunting and fishing is really, really, really fun but for many, exercise isn’t. This doesn’t have to be the case and our team can show you how to inject fun into the workouts that will allow you to track down big game, traverse any landscape and persevere through any elements Mother Nature can toss your way.
We are hunters and fisherman (and women) just like you and know that it is much easier to wake up and train for hunting and fishing than it is to lose weight or lower cholesterol which = boring. In our blogs, videos and personal training sessions you will be learning and performing movements/techniques that will make you better at the sport you love and you will enjoy every single second of it! And we’re also pretty darn funny. Just ask our wives and girlfriends. Fun is a staple of both our outdoor adventures and our time in the gym and we’ll make sure all of our outdoor brothers and sisters enjoy every moment
